The Franklin Valley Golf Course was established in 1962 as a nine hole public golf course with memberships available. In the early 1980's, an additional nine holes were added.

The golf course is located south of Jackson off State Route 93 on Franklin Valley Road. The golf course is open all year, weather permitting. The yardage from the white tees is 6,104 yards and the par is 71.
