The Oak Hill Chamber Of Commerce
has been a driving force in improvements within the village
of Oak Hill, especially Aetna Park.
Among the improvements to
the park include the refurbishing of an old B and O caboose
that was moved to Aetna Park, they building of the gazebo
that houses the Jackson County Bicentennial Bell. The pedestal
the bell sets on was made from bricks from the various brick
yards that used to operate in the Oak Hill area.
The chamber also helped to
put playground equipment in the park and assisted in the construction
of a fountain in the park that is located besides the Oak
Hill Village Building on State Route 93 near the center of
the village.
The Oak Hill Chamber Of Commerce
meets the first and third Monday of every month at the Oak
Hill Village Building.
Current officers include:
- President Dwight Jenkins
- Vice-President Martha
Detty
- Secretary Glada Jenkins
- Treasurer Calvin Lewis
